  • Student Experience of Teaching & Learning (SELT) (Wednesday, 27 January 2010)

Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) Unit Evaluation

The SELT Unit evaluation for Summer Semester 2009 has now been made available online to all students currently enrolled in HE units. The survey period closes on Friday 12th February.

If you are currently enrolled in Summer Semester a direct link to the online survey for your unit/s has been sent to your student email address.

SELT surveys allow you to give us feedback about your experiences as a student at Charles Darwin University. Results of past surveys for specific units can be viewed at: http://www.cdu.edu.au/teachingandlearning/studentevaluation.html

For further information about the survey or if you did not receive the emailed link please contact Vanessa Bauman either by email: Vanessa.Bauman@cdu.edu.au or phone: 08 8946 6317.

  • Student grades (Tuesday, 19 January 2010)

    Official grades

Grades appearing on Learnline are ‘unofficial’ grades and are only an indication of what your final grade may be.  CDU releases official grades on the relevant Grade release date.  Students are encouraged to view their results online using ‘my student info’ at www.cdu.edu.au/studentnet/.

  • 24/7 TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR LEARNLINE (Monday, 31 August 2009)
    24/7 TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR LEARNLINE

Charles Darwin University is continuing to enhance its service to students with the introduction of its 24/7 Learnline Student Support.

Students can now access help with Learnline by phone, email and via online live chat from anywhere in the world. You can browse helpful guides and contact the support team directly - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The University recognises that many students need to balance study with work and personal commitments. As a result, you often need to study outside normal business hours and need technical support after-hours.

With this in mind, the University made an arrangement with an international provider to provide technical support for Learnline around-the-clock. So you can now access technical support any time of the day or night - you don't need to wait until the next working day.

For example, you may be working on an assignment late at night and find you are unfamiliar with a particular function, or the mechanism for submitting assignments is not working properly. You can now chat live with a support team member, submit your issue or concern, or call the toll-free helpline that operates out of the US office.

Now that 24/7 Learnline Student Support is operational, CDU is receiving feedback from students, which is being used to improve the service.
